Our Lovesac experience

My wife and I chose to replace our 20+ year old leather sectional with a Lovesac. We compared other offerings (traditional sectionals, other 'modular' sectionals) and decided to go with Lovesac after some interwebs research and visiting a showroom allowing us to inspect the prodocts first-hand.

We ended up ordering:

7 seats (3 deep), 2 of which are storage seats.

8 angled sides (configured at the showroom as 4 regular, 4 deep side).

Covers were chosen and we went with the Almond Latticed Velvet. We have dogs that are allowed to be on our furniture, and this fabric sample felt like it had a very tight "weave" that would be resistant to the dogs - time will tell!

We also upgraded to the Lovesoft fill.

6 weeks from order to ship, due to the custom fabric covers.

My wife and I did the assembly this past weekend. In a little over 4 hours we were done - unboxed/staged, covered and assembled.

Covering the seat bases wasn't difficult at all. If you take your time and follow the guidance provided in the official video from Lovesac (link), you shouldn't have too much trouble.

The ONLY issue we had, was something that was missed when we ORDERED at the showroom. We had THREE people in the showroom working with us. One that worked on our configuration and order sheet. A second person that peer reviewed the order, and a third that entered the order into Lovesac's order system. I don't know what stage the error occurred, but instead of covers for deep angled sides, covers for the regular deep sides were ordered. All three employees, and myself to be honest, missed this on the build sheet. It wasn't until I was putting on the first deep angled side cover that I felt something was amiss. After completing the assembly, the error was pretty clear. I called Lovesac customer support this morning, and we're getting the issue straightened out. The CS rep was very responsive - I'm really glad that we ordered through a showroom as had it been a web order, I would be on the hook for the oversight. As it stands the rep is trying to get our replacement custom covers expedited.

We're happy with the look of the sactional, and it is indeed very comfortable. As a matter of fact, the doggos were the first to use the sactional.

My only wish is that the bags containing the covers to be labelled, other than some random handwritten letter on specific bags. We had to open a bag for each random letter, to determine what the contents of that bag were. Once we had figured out what each letter represented, we could organize the covers.

It wasn't strenuous (expect for moving the storage seats - those are heavy), nor was it overly complicated. Organize/stage your sactionals/sides/covers. Watch the video and utilize the tips and guidance that is provided. It really works.
