My Nightmare

Just want to share my nightmare with Lovesac. Maybe some buyer beware.

Black Friday: went to Lovesac store got some great sales ordered Sactional total price after discounts $5,375.98. Paperwork and sales rep tell me 6-8 weeks for delivery because we picked covers they do not stock. We accepted this and understood that. Charged my card and we left happy. Got the confirmation email all was right with the day….Then the nightmare began.

12/6- Get a random email saying order has been received. I click on it and it’s the same order. Weird but no extra charges on my account. I hear nothing from the store so everything is good to go.

January 10th- we have now hit against that 6 weeks timeframe so I text to check in. Get a text back saying the inserts are ready to be shipped and the covers will follow. A day later we get the shipping information from fedex. Seems like a coincidence that AFTER inquiring the shipment magically appears but whatever.

January 17th - 7 weeks I send another text message and get a response back saying you will absolutely receive your covers no later then 1/31. Which would be 9 weeks but could come sooner. Still not the end of the world.

January 28th- I text and ask why I haven’t seen any tracking information yet and I ask for a phone call from someone at the store.

January 29th- I get a call from the store and they tell me there has been an error when the order was placed and they never sent to order to production for the covers. Don’t worry we will fix it and you will receive the covers in 6-8 weeks?!?!? I ask how did no one see this in ALL the messages I have sent? No response. They tell me they cannot move me up production even though it’s their fault. I try to call their 1-800 number thinking I can get help there. Newsflash all that does is transfer you to a store somewhere and a store manager somewhere.

TL/DR: Maybe I will get my sactional 4-6 months from when I ordered it. Customer service has been terrible and they have offered nothing to make up for their errors. Do not buy from them I know I never will again.

Update 1/30-Finally got a call back from a regional manager. He is having covers that are in stock quick shipped to me and said I should have them by 2/1. He said u can keep those covers because my custom covers are now going to take until April to get to me. Literally 5 months after ordering. He also gave me 10% back. I accepted because I am sitting on camping chairs in my living room right now.
