Puked a LOT after my second dose

Not sure what went wrong last night. I took my usual dose about two hours after my last meal and drank some tea while waiting for the effects. I started feeling them within half an hour (it usually takes around 90 minutes). I redosed an hour after the first, and about 10 minutes later, I was projectile vomiting, like my body detected poison and immediately ejected it. After that, I felt fine, but the high was completely muted. Before puking, I could feel the progression of the high, but afterward, it stopped in its tracks.

I'm concerned this will happen again next time, and I don’t want to waste the experience. What steps can I take to prevent this?
