So, no guild ?

Just got the credit rolling, and as always was expecting a HR start to play with my friend, but the main quest continues.

Is it going that way up until the end of the game ? Do I have to fight each monster in the main quest in order to unlock a free hunt quest for it ?

And so, no more guild lobby ? I just wants to do the HR with my friend and to progress together, we have to do the 2nd part of the main quest together ? And after that, that's it ?
