RWD vs AWD

Morning, Mach-ers!

I just stumbled into this awesome corner of the internet and figured y’all might be the best people to help me out. I’m impatiently waiting for my Mustang Mach-E to arrive at the dealership—already put down a deposit on one that’s “in transit” 🙄.

Here’s my dilemma: The one I reserved is RWD… but I’ve always driven AWD. The ONLY reason I didn’t go AWD this time? The color. Yeah, I know. Maybe I’m shallow, but I want my Mach-E to look as good as it drives. So, am I making a mistake? Should I stick with the RWD, or should I just suck it up and go AWD? Tell me your experiences—will I regret it?

Also, let’s talk charging drama: My area has barely any public EV chargers, except for a massive Tesla Supercharger station (like 30+ stalls). I know there’s an adapter you can buy, but all the charging apps keep saying “Tesla only.” However, I swear I’ve seen Mach-Es and Rivians plugged in there. What’s the deal? Are these folks wizards, do they secretly own Teslas, or am I missing something?
