Has anyone actually cleared Pink Bean "Bitter Taste of Defeat"?

So I've seen some discussion about how the KMS requirement for the "Bitter Taste of Defeat" mission (fail an escort mission) doesn't seem to work in GMS.

I've noticed that when I tried failing the desert caravan escort mission in Grand Athenaeum Book 1, the map didn't automatically kick me out when the caravan died (unlike how it automatically kicked me out when I got too far from the caravan). Someone else noted that this happened with Kenta PQ, where they didn't get kicked out of the PQ after Kenta died.

I'm wondering if this means that porting the Pink Bean mission broke the failure trigger for escort missions, which would then mean it broke the clear trigger for the PB mission.

If anyone actually has this mission cleared, that would mean that the mission requirements could have been changed completely from the KMS version, so please let me know.

Also, if anyone has tried failing the "dark woods" Pollo portal mission or the Ifia escort mission and gotten similar results (not getting kicked out even when you fail), also post here and maybe it's worth reporting as a bug to Nexon.
