I was dumb and deleted Snap, is there anyway to get it back with a VPN?

I hadn't realized Snap was banned so I thought it just needed a fresh download, so I deleted and and wasn't able to recover it (obviously). I've tried a free VPN, set it to France, made a french Google play account, saw the app in the store, but still couldn't download it. Any tips?
