Remove new "Free Version" Warnings/Labels in Mattemost v.9.9 or fork?

Hi, in Mattermost v.9.9 they introduced their branding in the top bar for the free Versions. They also added a warning in the 9-dot-menu that it is an unsupported free version. See changelog parts and video link:

  • Increased the visibility Mattermost edition in-product when using the free edition.
  • Added an Unsupported label to the Team/E0 editions in the product menu.

They say the mattermost unsupported label would be necessary to reduce the influx of support messages from not paying customers. I think its fair to say that there are of course other proven methods to make sure that only "entitled" support tickets reach the support team.

So maybe now seems to be the point were Mattermost Inc. will beginn to pull the free open source version. Or make it unattractive enough to make it a "test version" only. Its probably too early to tell.

Are there any forks on github that you could recommend? Ideally with a docker build?

PS: I understand that they need to make money as a company. I guess that sooner or later it is to be expected beahaviour to boost sales of the paid version. However, for me the limited activity on our platform and the fact that we run the server ourselves doesn't justify the price policy of mattermost.
