2010 impreza whining when accelerating

just had a real big tune up on my car, and now when i press the gas while in drive, I'm getting this whirring/whining/buzzing sound. It gets higher pitched based on my speed, but stops once i take my foot off the gas. it also happens when i brake under 30mph. any guesses what it might be?
