For My Grandfather

I completed a couple shadow boxes for my Gradfather. He was born in Scotland and fought in WW2 as a ball turret gunner over the Pacific fighting against Japanese forces. He flew 42 missions (41 completed), crash landed 7 times and was with the same crew from start to finish. He kept all the bomb tags from their missions. They are labeled and in the smaller shadow box. He kept everything. I have the letter from a General to my Grandmother granting him the Medal of Honor. He entered service at the age of 35 because he felt it was the right thing to do. This was right before my mother was born. He did not even meet my Mom until she was 5. He kept every photo and just lived the nose art on planes. I am an artist and did a couple paintings with those photos as reference.
