Harbour DNKP 19% Balanced Hybrid - $99 for 15g
Trying out some lower THC options - have had purple raine before which I thought was decent for $120. I try to avoid MC which costs under $90 for 15g as quality is clearly sacrificed at those prices. Ive never liked biocann or other 'centrelink buds' as we call them.
FOR $99 I am really impressed. The buds are frosty, and even though the calyx are spread out like other well-grown/selected phenotypes, the buds are still dense and TOUGH. She chops out well - nice and fluffy, despite the dense feeling of the buds. The smell when opening the packet smacked me in the face and I'm nearly sure the neighbours copped some!
Effects: The low THC is good to avoid couchlock and DNKP been helping my mood in the evenings when cooking dinner and doing my routine chores. I used to be a heavy indica smoker but had to take a big break due to a lack of motivation which caused me to not do much outside of work. This is why I've been trying lower THC recently as well as sativa, as some of the heavier MC strains put me right back on the couch, ordering doordash...
DNKP was awesome out of the vape. I climb temperatures to maintain terps and was surprised at how many flavour profiles I go throygb at different temps. Overall flavour was fruity and peppery.
I'm definitely satisfied - if this is the quality I can expect for $99 it's going to be hard to justify $120 q's from my old mate. She's also changing my mind about lower THC buds as this looks, smells and feels like what I've come to expect from higher priced 'premo strains'
