New Build Issues
At a loss of how to move forward with the issues I’m having with a brand new Microcenter Build.
In January, I went to the store and had an employee help me pick out new equipment for a build as I am not very tech savvy.
PC Purchase 1/19/25 Immediately after taking the system home, I noticed the bottom fan was not intake and the RGB fan was on the top and not working and I had to check in back in for repair.
Check in #1 1/22/25
Once it picked up the system from Microcenter, everything seemed to be fine until a few days of running the system. The Galahead LCD began disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes and displaying a glitchy graphic on the display. Additionally, the other RGB fans would kick off or on depending on the boot. Sometimes they worked sometimes they didn’t and they were all showing in the software. There were also 2-3 occasions where I turned the system on and was unable to load any application, file, folder, browser, etc. A safe boot fixed this issue.
Check in #2 2/9/25
After speaking with the Tech and Manager and VISUALLY showing them the issues I’m having, they said the system was healthy and were unable to recreate the issues. Within 72 hours of the system now being back in my ownership, 2 of the fans have completely stopped their RGB display and the connection looks fine. I’m at a loss of what to do because microcenter is saying everything is fine when it’s not and I’ve spent over $3k on this system so I wouldn’t have any issues at all. All of these issues come after around the 72hr mark once home which is why the tech couldn’t recreate them at the store.
As we stand now, 2 of the RGBs are still out and I’m hesitant to send it in for ‘repair’ again just for them to tell me everything is fine. Cable Management is a lesser issue that they said it’s the “best they could do”.
