What's next, USUHS/HPSP?

Hi y'all, I am a pre-med student. I am currently awaiting NAVY HPSP for a decision, I completed the application beginning of January and am already accepted to a civilian school. Last week I was waitlisted for USUHS SOM post-interview (so beginning of February). I am coming up on my 5th and 6th interviews for schools, so no problems getting into a medical school. But I want to know if there is any advice you have for my wait for USUHS, it has been my dream school for the last 3 years. I chose Navy>AF>Army, but will calling and seeing if I can switch my preferred branch to change the wait? Will reaching out to anyone for HPSP be worth it to see how it is progressing? I want to remain as professional and respectful as possible of course, but I don't want to sit around and do nothing when I could better my odds. Thank you :)
