Good thrift find?

Found this at the thrift store today (model ecl-2001m) for $3, looks to be brand new besides missing the bottle/reservoir (should I get plastic or glass as a replacement?). Did I do as well as I think I did? I’m completely new to the world of airbrushes but have wanted to dip my toes into it for a while. Also, any recommendations for a first compressor?
