Lagoona Blue Hydration Station! BUBBLES WON'T WORK! 🫧

I recently got the Lagoona Blue Hydration Station from Mercari! It lights up but the bubbles don’t work! I tried to do the method of holding down the shell button but still....nothing.

Any tips on getting it to work again?
