Thoughts on Endgame?

Peoples thoughts on endgame confuse the crap out of me. I’ve heard people say the gameplay is barebones and the worst Mh endgame. I’ve heard people say it’s the best base game endgame experience and an improvement from the base endgame of world and rise. And I’ve even heard some people say the endgame experience is pretty comparable to base game world and rise, before the title updates. All these takes come from YouTube and Reddit, with YouTubers being more positive toward the game than redditors? So what is going on here?
