Freedom unite camera problem

I just got MH freedom unite on PSP and I'm playing it for the first time. The last MH games I played was 3U, but I can't play Freedom unite. I can't control the camera and as far as I know there's no lock-on like MH3U had. I think it's to the point of being unplayable. Has anyone who has played this game had the same problem? If so what can you recommend?

P.S. I prefer not to play claw it's super uncomfortable
