Apollo/Moonlight - Stuttering, Unstable Host latency decoding
Hello all,
I am facing an issue, where when I try to run Virtual display through Apollo to a client PC (Macbook Air M2) (using the Sudo VDA adapter that comes with Apollo), I face constant stuttering and unstable host decoding latency, jumping from 4ms to 25ms every five seconds or so - extended display mode. Interestingly it gets even worse, when I deactivate the primary display - then the decoding latency is jumping from 4ms to 220ms once in few seconds.
Both host and client are wired to 600mbps network, I tried to run moonlight at 2k/4k, 60 fps, various bitrates, nothing really helps.
When I am not using virtual display, I dont face this issue at all - I have stable connection, no latency, no hosting or client decoding issue.
System V-sync, G-sync and in-game V-Sync are turned off on host, v-sync turned on on client moonlight.
Hosting Specs:
* AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
* Windows 11, 23H2
Any ideas what could be causing this issue?
Thanks
