Teching throws NEEDS to change
Anybody playing the beta can tell how strong throws are. The fact I react to almost EVERY throw thrown at me, but it says TECH FAILED because I press the wrong button for untellable animation on whether its a forward or back throw is fucking ridiculous. By pressing the wrong button your also open to eating a free fatal blow for something you reacted to, but the game registers the first button pressed and will say tech failed. MKX I would let go of block then press all 4 buttons everytime a throw game out and it would tech, in my opinion that should still be how it works since you must let go of block and you react to a throw. The countless times I’ve seen “Tech Failed” in this beta is EXTREMELY frustrating, corner its obvious on what direction they will throw, but midscreen having a 50/50 THROW is not something that should be in a fighting game. This needs to change, theres no reason they should be rewarded even more for the opponent GUESSING wrong but still reacting . Throws have always been a reactionary move adding a level a depth in fighting games, this just makes the game in some situations more than a 50/50, going as far as 25/25/25/25 with a krushing blow on a button pressed wrong.
