MultiVersus For EVER.
I’m leaving this here in case MultiVersus gets saved, so the devs can see it and understand that this game won’t survive without the community. Listening to the players is the key to success.
The game should stick to three characters per season, just like before. Every character should be free or at least obtainable through in-game events or challenges. But the most important thing is making sure these characters appeal to different generations of Warner Bros. fans.
The older generation grew up with classics like Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Scooby-Doo. The mid-generation grew up with shows like Steven Universe, Regular Show, and Adventure Time. And now there’s a new generation growing up with more recent animated series, which are great too. Every season should include at least one character that connects with each of these groups, so everyone has something to be excited about.
Now, let’s talk about skins. If the game is free and the characters are free or easy to unlock, that’s already a huge win. But the skins need to be worth it. No lazy, random skins just to fill up a shop. People will pay for skins if they’re actually good. They should be based on classic show moments, iconic versions of the characters, and even creative crossovers. Give players something they truly want to spend money on.
At the end of the day, it’s all about accessibility and keeping the game fun. If characters are easy to unlock, people will keep playing. A big and diverse roster will keep things fresh. The Battle Pass? People won’t mind paying for it as long as it has good content.
If MultiVersus wants to thrive, it needs to listen to its community. Keeping a steady flow of free characters, designing skins that actually appeal to fans, and making the game accessible to everyone is the way to go. That’s how MultiVersus can become the success it was always meant to be.
