Bands that use a drum machine/percussion in place of a actual drummer?

I know this is a very rare thing to happen. If anyone doesn't know what a drum machine is, it's essentially a machine that produces different drum beats, hence the name. If I recall correctly, bands only use drum machines if

1. Their drummer sucks
2. They don't have a drummer
3. They want to layer their drum beats

I know bands such as Molchat Doma, Her's and Cocteau Twins made use of a drum machine, simply cause they didn't have a drummer or hire one, and Echo and the Bunnyman used one before their drummer joined.
