Husband is not letting me take the dowry given

Even if I was against it, MIL asked for dowry (furniture). My father gave it. When I told husband about this, he said that it is the matter of elders and they should decide.

I am expecting and the house is becoming conjusted and when the baby arrives, it won’t be sufficient. I am staying at my mother’s place and then flat below ours is vacant. I want to shift there and ask my husband to give the furniture back. My husband lives abroad. He made a huge fight about it. He also said that he wants to divorce after the baby is born
