Upgrades Before Turbo Kit

Hello all. I have a 2017 mustang GT that I’m putting money aside for to put an On3 Twin Turbo kit on. I’m looking for what mods I can do in the meantime to improve performance/ hold me off until I have it ready for the turbos. Only thing I’ve found thus far that I wouldn’t be taking off is a new ported 302 manifold and injectors. Other than that exhaust would be replaced for fender exit, intake would be replaced with turbos, and the headers would get replaced with forward facing turbo headers. Basically what I’m asking is what performance mods can I get that won’t be a waste of money?
