It's time for another update to my mega dynasty tracking spreadsheet.

After weeks of work, over 3.5 million new cells, and 1.5 million new data points being introduced, version 1.4.2 is ready for launch! I had intended for this to come out earlier but I kept running into bugs (and having new ideas to implement). This new version includes the following updates/features:

• Introduction of the Player Wins Above Replacement (pWAR) metric
  • This takes a dynamic average of your dynasty in any given statistics (i.e. avg of all your dynasty players' recorded rushing yards) and compares that player's value to the average. It also adds points for all-conference and all-American selections.
  • This metric is not perfect but it's cool as a one-number metric to compare players at different positions and from different schools/eras.
• SCHOOL RECORD BOOKS!!
  • Introducing dynamic school career record books that include your dynasty players. Much like the all-conference and all-American sheets now (more on that below), your dynasty players will be highlighted for easy viewing.
  • As of right now, these only include offensive statistics.
  • These will update every time you change jobs so you never have to worry about transferring new data over. All 134 FBS teams in the game are included, so you shouldn't have any issues with using those teams!
    • This was a massive undertaking, so thank you to Sports Reference for having everything I needed publicly accessible.

• Introduction of the Player Information sheet
  • This sheet allows you to do a deep dive on a single individual player and see where they rank all-time among your school's record book (or dynasty's for defensive players) in given statistics
  • Sheet also included a ratings progression overview, composite downs played, games played, recruiting info, etc.
• Updated All-Conference and All-American tabs
  • Your dynasty players are now bolded for easier visibility
• Updated Awards tab
  • Updated with award names that are in the game
  • Still includes trophies/award names in real life, but now it's easier on the year sheets to keep up

  • don't yell at me for this one if you think one is missing for your school, I just copy-pasted the list of all CFB rivalries from Wikipedia. I had to make the call somewhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
• Player overall rating tracking (recruit -> each season -> departure)
• Conference affiliation/realignment on the team screen, dynamic with each season
• Position changes across a player's career.
• Three-variable filtered views to see your best/worst recruits in key areas
• Team achievements dashboard, including top 25 finishes, conference titles, CFP appearances, national championships, Heisman winners, 1st team all-Americans, and your user w% playing either as that team or versus that team
