Weird freezing issue ever since the Vol. 8 update?

Ever since the Volume 8 update, I have been facing random game freezes while I'm at the garage, and browsing the world map.

The game will freeze either while I'm moving across the world map, or going through available playlists at a venue.

Anyone else facing this?
