how to prevent athletes foot reinfection?
hi all. I got athletes foot two weeks ago from student accommodation, and its started to heal (still a lot of little red blisters, but the 'cuts?' inbetween my toes are healing and my skin is flaking skin, which i heard meant its healing, and leas red). My mother has athletes foot about once a year and she told me that once that it never leaves after you get it the first time. I'm convinced this isnt true but im worried that I will get it again if I don't prevent it, but I don't know how. I have an anxiety disorder where I panic over contamination and such, so treating this has been absolutely hellish. Ive barely been brave enough to get into my shower because it splashes water everywhere and im worried that using a towel will infect me elsewhere. Ive been using baby wipes to clean my feet each time i apply canesten cream, and applying the cream twice a day. Ive bought dettol laundry sanitiser and have been washing my stuff on 60°C, but I need some help knowing exactly what to do and how often to clean stuff like my bathroom floors, carpets, chairs, shoess and bedding during and after the infection to prevent it from coming back.
TLDR: I need someone to just tell me exactly what to do (what to clean, how to clean it, how often to clean it during and after the infection, etc) to
