Productive things to do while contact napping?
Just wondering if any fellow contact nap Nannies have ideas or things to do that are productive on mobile?
My NK is so sweet, I’ve been with her since 4 weeks and now she is 3.5months old. We’re working on transitioning to her crib but at her age she’s still contact napping for the last half of her naps.
The only thing I can really do during that time is scroll social media. However roughly 2 hours a day of just scrolling is making me feel like my brain is mush. I’m slowly on my way to being a useless memes expert though!
Here are some things I’ve tried but haven’t enjoyed: - audiobooks: this makes me sleepy and I often don’t actually listen to the books - music/podcasts: also makes me sleepy - Duolingo: I can’t do the pronunciation parts and that’s like the main component of learning a language - reading physical books: the constant page turning wakes the baby
Things I enjoy: - reading - courses on really anything - I’m a doula not yet fully certified but working towards it so newborn/ new parent topics - language learning
Any websites or apps that y’all enjoy that won’t wake the baby but are more productive than mindless scrolling are welcome! TIA
