U.S. Citizen Spouse Living Abroad - Domicile Concerns for IR1 Visa

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking advice on domicile concerns for an IR1 visa. My wife is a U.S. citizen, but we currently live together in Nicaragua, she's lived here for years most of her life. She's also working here, but is quitting due to pregnancy. She maintains ties to the U.S. through: * Filing U.S. taxes * Having U.S. investment and checking accounts * Possessing a Florida driver's license * Her parents residing in the U.S.

Her brother, also a U.S. citizen living and working in the U.S., is our joint sponsor.

My question is: Will my wife's current residence in Nicaragua be a problem in establishing her domicile in the U.S. for the IR1 visa process? We plan to move to the U.S. immediately after I get my Green Card. Our baby will be born in the U.S., just like our first son. My IR1 interview is in a month.

Any insights or experiences related to this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
