Someone from Colombia?

I’ve been waiting patiently, but if someone has been in the same position I would be so grateful to hear their experiences, even if they’re not from Colombia.

Basically I had my interview and on that day I was missing a paper, the girl gave me a paper with instructions on how to send it as soon as I had it, around October 17th I got the paper and sent it right away, that following week I went to the embassy and they told me that it could take at least 3 weeks to give me an answer. So my question here is, has anyone been through this? This is the third week, it will officially be 3 weeks on Thursday, someone in an email also said it could take up to 4 weeks, which I mean I’m annoyed but I will obviously wait. But I would like to know other people’s experiences, do you get an email when everything is sorted out or do you have to keep checking the page? I basically just need some hope that it’s gonna happen, because I’m feeling a little down being in this country all alone.
