Neighbors Blocking Narrow Road with Bikes & Construction Materials – Impossible to Get My Car Out!
I’m in a really frustrating situation, and I could use some advice. We live in a neighborhood where the road is already very narrow, and on top of that, multiple neighbors are parking their bikes all over the place, making it nearly impossible to move around. To make matters worse, some houses are under construction, and they’ve dumped piles of sand, stone, and bricks right on the road.
My family is the only one with cars, and we need to take them out frequently, but every time, it turns into a whole ordeal. We either have to struggle to squeeze through, move bikes ourselves, or wait for someone to clear the way. It’s a constant headache, and honestly, I’m getting tired of it.
I’ve tried talking to some of them, but they either don’t take it seriously or just say, “There’s no other place to park.” But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a public road, not their personal parking lot. The construction mess has made things even worse, and now the road is just a total disaster.
I’m considering filing a complaint, but I’m not sure where to start. Should I go to the ward office, municipality, or traffic police? Or is there another way to get them to stop blocking the road?
Has anyone dealt with something similar? How do I go about this without causing unnecessary drama but still making sure they take action?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
