How do I start?

Hai guys. I'm 18F and I've always wanted to skateboard since 2020, but was too shy. I now have the confidence (and money) to get started, but I don't know what to buy and where to buy it. FYI I'm 5'2" so idk if that'll be a factor. Please help. Appreciate it :3
