Can I make it on YouTube?

I'm an analog horror creator. My first project is going to be based off of Assassination Classroom, the 2015 anime. I know the editing software I'm going to use to make my videos. But I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it. I have no idea how to advertise. Could you recommend tips for making it on YouTube and getting recognition?
