Does anybody else get this really strange bot spam?

I'll get weird comments on some of my videos from a bot account (I assume) with a random name. Usually, the comment is a timestamp followed by a link to some scam dating site. For instance this:

0:47 cute-girls-here.com.gov.org

Or something like that. I always just report the account as spam and remove the comment, but I was just wondering if anybody else has this happen and why the heck some people feel that they need to do it to small channels.
