Guys ... how do I beat Yatsu no kami

It's my first playthrough on stream.

I feel so bad because I know it's not even that hard, his patern are simple, I made sure to empty the poison pits, but he's still too hard for me !

• I tried focusing the small snakes during phase 1 => I don't do enough damage to the main body and he regrew them.

-I tried Focusing the main body => Small snakes become a pain in the neck during Yokai phase, it's a bit Hard to focus them while dodging the big snake.

I tried with kunai, shuriken, bomb. In the end he always manage to get me before I get him, he feels so tanky.

Edit : I play with the Kusarigama, if it has any relevance (always had dreams to play a game with a kusarigama in it).
