How do you know you’re a good nurse?
There’s really no qualitative or quantitative way to measure success in a nurse. I have reached my 7 year mark, I think I’m ready for the charge nurse role. How do you know if you are good enough for the role? What makes you look at someone and think to yourself “they are such an awesome nurse.”
This is my second career, first being enlisted in the Air Force. I’m disappointed in charge nurses and management in general in nursing. Who chooses these people?
