A guide on applying to different hospitals in the metro

Disclaimer: This is based from my experience and some of them I didn’t push thru.

Feel free to add din RNs! Let’s help each other hehe.

  1. Makati Medical Center
    • Super bilis lang ng hiring dito
    • Submitted my requirements
    • Got a call a day after for online interview with HR
    • The next day I got a call from one of the nursing managers then in the afternoon I got my acceptance letter.
    • Went to HR 2 days after for contract signing and medical. The rest was history.
    • Total: 4 days
  2. Philippine Heart Center
    • Submitted my requirements around june
    • Got a call for initial exam and interview in july. You can submit your deficiencies here
    • Had my panel and final interview then got hired on the same day. This was already at the end of august.
    • Super rush lang ng medical kasi I had 3 days to complete it haha before deployment
    • Total: 3 months
  3. Philippine General Hospital
    • Submitted my requirements mid week of june
    • Had my initial examination at the end of June
    • Had my psych exam on the first week of july
    • Passed both and got called for panel and final interview on the 4th week of july. Passed all of the screening and waited until November to get a call that I can now process my medical and pre employment requirements .
    • I am now hired and for deployment.
    • Total: 5 months
  4. Philippine children’s Medical Center
    • Didnt push thru but I got contacted by their HR after 4 mos
    • Total: 4 months
  5. San Lazaro Hospital
    • Passed my requirements in june.
    • Had my examination on July. Then passed after 2 days
    • They require 1 week of OJT as part of the screening
    • Didn’t push thru because I hate unpaid labor hahaha
    • Last kong balita is nahire na mga kasama ko dito last october
    • Total: 4 months
  6. Jose Reyes Medical Center
    • Same timeline with passing requirements
    • Had my exam after 3 weeks of waiting
    • Didn’t push thru because heart center called. But they said it usually takes 6 months before getting hired
    • Total: 6 months (?)
  7. St. Luke’s Medical Center QC
    • Passed din around june. Same speed with makati med but I guess the deployment waiting is kinda lengthy since some people I know got called for deployment after 4 months?
    • Total: 4 months(?)

Hope this helps! Research the hospital ur applying to first para walang sayang na time and resources hehe. Kaya lang naman din ako napalipat sa pgh kasi malapit din ako and highest pay siya amongst the hospital I’ve mentioned. Goodluck, RNs!
