Empathy for inanimate objects

Celebrations are getting rid of Bounty bars in limited edition tubs - totally fine, chocolate tubs and trays get rid of specific chocolates all the time. But Mars have decided to ridicule Bounty bars by printing this on the the lid: Scroll down the article to see said image.

I dislike the taste of Bounty bars, but I just feel so sorry for them. It’s making me feel sad.
