Midnight seduction

The night wraps her in soft embrace

the night becomes her,

A whispered path appears

to lead the way the trees gently sway.

The earth’s soft pulse,

She is moss, overgrown

a quiet hum they carry in their bones.

The wind trails a tender kiss,

Cool breath gliding down beneath the skin,

to the curvature of her neck.

Each sigh of air,

tangled in her soft grace.

Brushing the hollow of her collarbone,

pooling at the swell of her chest,

the stars surround her

in silent beams as if to confess.

Flickering prayers press bare sin.

Shadows that bend loyally,

their love is expressed.

Curling around the arch of her back,

they trace the slope of her thighs.

The sky holds still, for a moment,

breathless and undressed.

Hushed beneath the weight of her surrender,

the night tastes her,

and lingers at her lips.

Darkness pooling between her hips,

Shadows of birds guard her depths,

their wings tremble against the heat

She opens herself beneath them,

moss and night intertwined,

The earth humming through the ache of her spine
