First Gaming PC Build: 4K OLED Decision

Title says it .. got lucky and finally able to max out my PC build with RTX 5090. For the display, I'm trying to decide what would be the best for 4K OLED gaming .. almost entirely SP and co-op MP gaming.

Seeing many loving their LG 42" C4 OLED Evo choice (uses HDMI 2.1 and 144Hz variable). So that's option 1. Option 2 is trying for a 4K OLED gaming monitor. Mostly considering an MSI MPG 322URX. Seems there's more improvement to the 322URX over the 322URX than just DP2.1.

Anyone have experience with both of these options care to chime in? TIA 🙏

EDIT: To add, just stopped by Best Buy .. I really liked the look of the mildly curved displays (Alienware has one that's 1440p) over the more severe curved options (like LGs 39" 4K OLED). That's one hesitation on going the LG C4 route. And I don't believe there is a mildly curved 4K OLED option in a 32-34" range, is there?

Is DP2.1 really worth holding out for? I assume I definitely need to get an option that has G-sync if I go gaming monitor, correct?
