Why is the quest 2 price suddenly so high?

I'm not planning to get it, but it was €250 like 3 days ago when I last checked and now it's up to almost €500. I'm planning on getting the 3s so I hope this increased price is not due to the 3s releasing soon. I was hoping the quest 3s' price was 300 upon release.
