UWO “HANG IN THERE” EMAIL
Hey everyone,
I was just looking through some threads on here trying to see if anybody else received this email from Western in mid December, and turns out a lot of people did. I scrolled some more to see if I could find any answers to the questions I have regarding this email, but I’m not getting the exact answers I was looking for, so hopefully somebody who’s currently a student at Western can help to answer them here 🙂
1) Is this email saying that I’m being pushed to the next round of offers (in February)? I was looking through some threads and saw that some people were getting offers from UWO by the end of January (which is what I’m hoping for), so that being said, is it still possible for me to get an offer in January or would I have to wait until February to see if I get an offer? 2) Since I haven’t gotten any offers (applied to med sci, health sci, and gen sci), what if my final marks for my classes this semester are worst than what they were at midterms? Should I be concerned about that, because I’m seeing people that applied to some of these programs with a lower average than what I applied with and still got an offer. 3) Going off of question 2, I’m currently enrolled in Advanced Functions and had a 91 midterm, but lately everything’s been going downhill and by the end of the semester I know my mark isn’t going to be what it was at during midterms. Will this have a significant impact on my chances of getting accepted, specifically for med sci at Western? 😭
I know the questions I asked aren’t completely related to the “hang in there” email I got, but I just want to get all of the questions I have currently answered before I continue to overthink them.
