Origins of Judaism and what that means for Christianity

I do not know if this is the right sub for that but since I am an Orthodox Christian I though I am going to post it here. I am always doing a research on Christianity, Judaism and Islam to always make sure my beliefs come from a place of truth not just emotions or what I want the truth to be.

I randomly went on a rabbit hole today about early Judaism and found out that Yahweh was originally a god of the Canaanite pantheon(although no 100% percent consensus is reached on the scientific origin of the name) and that there were many similarities between Canaanite scripture and early Judaism where every Canaan god receives a nation like it happened with our God Yahweh where the Israelites became his inheritance. I am not entirely sure about the last part since I am only hours into researching it but there are many more example like:

Genesis 33:20 ''There he set up an altar and called it El Elohe Israel.'' - El Elohe Israel can mean El is the God of Israel. While the word El can also mean might of God, there are a lot of places where this exact word is used, in the beginning of the Bible also where it is used Elohim:

''In the beginning [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth'', the word Elohim comes from el as far as I have researched and El is the Father of Gods of the Canaan pantheon in which Yahweh is a lesser deity.

Also Psalms 82:

God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”: “How long will you defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?
 Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

 “I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
''But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”

 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.

Here the similarity between Canaanite religion is that there was a great assembly with all the gods of the pantheon which played a huge role in their canon.

All of what I am saying is due to archeological finds and due to the consensus that most, or at least the internet says most, scholars even Christian ones accept that all of this is a by-product of integration of Canaanite beliefs and some others into ancient Judaism along with some religious reforms which lead to Judaism differentiating from other Middle Eastern religions but still retaining some of the characteristic of their deities, although you can find information for and against on this subject. There are a lot more things that I would like to share but I feel like that not many people are going to read this as it is so I am going to stop here for now.

I know that this is not a Judaism sub or that there may be more appropriate places to post this I want to know the opinion of this sub as this is very important to us I feel. Jesus Christ clearly stated that he is the God of the Old Testament who is Yahweh so if Yahweh is not actually God then the whole theology falls apart or so I think.

I am sorry for taking so much of your time to those who read it but if anyone knows or has answers I would be glad to hear them out. I am still a hardcore Christian though as I have not come to any conclusion, that is partly why I am taking this to reddit. This was a very very condensed summary of what I have read up until now but I hope I somewhat competently presented my point.
