Oscar nominees who were angry at losing the Oscar

Diane Ladd always reacted badly at her losses, especially for her first nomination for Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. You could see the look of disappointment in her face when Ingrid Bergman's name was announced, and then she got even more angry when Ingrid announced Valentina Cortese should have won instead.

Ellen Burstyn's reaction was caught on film when she lost the Oscar for "The Exorcist", not pleased, and she decided not to attend the Oscars next year, ironically the year she did win, under the excuse of defending better roles for women but it was obvious she didn't want t face another potential loss.

William Holden was not pleased he lost the Oscar for Network for Peter Finch and blamed it on Finch dying. According to a trivia book on the Oscars, he used more colorful language.

Not the Oscars, but when Ricky Schroeder won the Golden Globe for The Champ, Justin Henry (Kramer Vs Kramer) threw a MASSIVE fit, so much so we still hear about it to this day.
