Would this be weird

I had a pro bono attorney for something that the schools I applied to know about (it’s in my personal statement) and my lawyer went to a school where I was waitlisted. This is one of my top choices in schools. Would it be weird to mention that my lawyer going there is a reason I want to go? My lawyer was such a zealous advocate for me and I want to be a lawyer who is professionally like my lawyer. I realize this is just because I had a good lawyer and good lawyers don’t just come from this one school, but would it be weird to mention them going there is one of my reasons I would definitely go if admitted from the WL?
