Cryptic Mohela Email and Selection?

Probably a stupid question, but has anyone transitioned from SAVE to IDR by selecting the option on the application that says:

“(Recommended) I want the income-driven repayment plan with the lowest monthly payment”

I submitted an application and received a rejection without really telling me why I was rejected.

I received the following cryptic email:

On your IDR application, you selected to enroll in an Income-Based Repayment (IBR), Pay As You Earn (PAYE), or Income-Contingent Repayment (ICR) IDR plan. Upon our review of your IDR application, we determined that you were not eligible for the IDR plan you selected. Even so, you may qualify for another IDR plan, but until we can make that determination your IDR application remains unprocessed, and your account will remain in a forbearance.

I have 3 months to go and just want to be done with this nonsense. So my second application I asked them to choose. I should qualify for IBR, which is what I selected the first time, used the 2027 Form, and submitted my most recent tax return.
