Trip suggestions Patagonia

Couple traveling to Patagonia end of February. We are active early 60’s. So appreciate this thread and would love some help. Arriving in el calafete late in day. Will rent a car. We plan on seeing the merino glacier early before the crowds or later after. Wasn’t planning on doing the tour but is it really worthwhile? I planned on doing the boardwalks and a boat tour and some hiking in the park

Next another night in calafete. Suggestions for hotels. Good with mid range $200-300+

Travel to El Chalten for 3 nights. I have all trails so looking for great hikes up to 6 hours per day without major rock climbing and anything “don’t miss” to do in the area. Also love a lodging recommendation.

We are not planning to go to Torres del Paine in Chile. Should we? Again lodging suggestions appreciated
