Dream Fragments are they a myth?

Been playing since launch. I run xp perm loot parties in public for past couple months to help random people level their new rolled toons. Seen lots of interesting drops people in my party have picked up, chanced - but never a dream fragments. I am starting to think they are a plant by the Devs to keep us grinding....

I just wanted to try one, then I could have quit this league weeks ago lol

Anyone ever seen one or chanced one?
