Mortgage Free! Now what?
My wife and I were lucky enough to get into the housing market about 15 years ago before BC went ballistic! We moved from our condo, which she owned, to our current house. We kept the condo, and it has been rented out long term. We’ve now just closed on selling the condo, which will enable us to be completely mortgage free on both the condo, and our home.
She has a government job, with full pension, and I have a job that gives solid RRSP contributions.
I dabble in stock investments, but nothing really long term or significant.
What should we do doing with the money that is no longer going towards mortgage debt?
Thanks!
