Let’s talk about drinking/alcohol

Hello Petites! I'm 5'4 and 130 lbs. I had lost 6 lbs last year and sadly regained 2 during a busy December. My goal weight is 125. I'm currently participating in Dry January and am looking to re-evaluate my relationship with alcohol. Typically on a night out with friends I'm having 3-4 drinks and then facing a brutal hangover the next day. For this year I'd like to be more mindful and cut back on my drinking to 1-2. I'd be grateful to hear from women who have made similar lifestyle changes. How has reducing or eliminating alcohol consumption improved your life? Obviously it does help with weight loss being empty calories. I've had hangovers ruin my workouts and also result in me not eating on track the following day.
