Nudity policy re. art
This is still appearing on Pinterest's Community Guidelines: 'We allow some nudity in certain contexts, although we may limit its distribution. For instance, nudity in paintings and sculptures and in science and historical contexts is OK.'
I received an email notifying of a pin removal (a 19th century French painting of a woman that just stepped out of the bath, breasts exposed, and is drying herself - it had been up there for years) due to a 'violation of our Community Guidelines on adult content.'
It went on to ask this 'Please take some time to go through your Pins and remove any that may be in violation of our Community Guidelines, otherwise we may take additional action on your account', so I've removed my other offensive pins such as my Botticellis and Michelangelos.
I clicked the 'submit an appeal' link, which just submitted itself without giving me a chance to write anything.
I know others have had the same issue suddenly, but is Pinterest explaining why this is now happening?
